Anyone ever use this website? Wondering what everyone's experience with them is - they are offering a rewards program of 1 night free after a ten night stay. But I am always leary of offers being too good to be true and/or hidden fees. Thanks!

I've used them, and they are as advertised. You have to pay the entire reservation up front (tax included). Non refundable and very little cancellation policy so be sure before you book.

If you're not 100% sure of wanting to stay there, I use it as a comarison tool only, and then make a reservation (without advance payment) on the hotel chain's website.

I've also had good results with travelocity. Booked a hotel in Toronto this spring through them and it went down the next week. I invoked their "promise" and by the evening we had an e-mail stating we were getting full credit back to get us to the lower price.

I booked a package with them and have had no issues (the trip is actually in two weeks). Price as stated - no hidden charges or fees. If you do book with them, look and see if your credit card offers any "click-through" bonuses. For example, Discover Shop Rewards is currently giving bonus 5% cash back for Hotels.com when you click through their link and pay with Discover card. Other CC's might offer something similar.

And as an aside, since your siggy says you stayed at Embassy - LBV last year, how did you like it? That's where were staing later this month. :)

@sarmat1 - wished I would have gotten your post about two hours ago. Just booked through hotels.com and didn't use the discovercard link thingy. I literally pulled the trigger at lunch today. Oh well.

In answer to your question about Embassy Suites LBV - we LOVE it there. We are actually going there next week - yes I was a last minute lucy in booking it. We will be there from 8/19 to 9/1. The breakfasts are cook to order. And the manager's reception is wonderful. Can't beat open bar for two hours - and there are slushies for the kiddies. I swear my kids are more excited for the slushies than they are going to WDW! The hotel staff is great and the hotel is so close to Downtown Disney.

You said you are going later this month - maybe we'll bump into each other at the manager's reception!

i like hotels.com. U do pay up front.U don't get ur free stay untill a few days after the 10th night. It's based on an average tho. So we stayed a few weekend @ a hotel in Niagara that was a very nice but on sale for around $50 a night that brought our average down. But all around I can't complain. We got $60 off our 11th night. However, the best site I have seen is travel zoo. that compares all the sites including Hotels. Remember, all of these sites are "travel agents" So sometimes ur better off just going to an agent. They all make commission from say Walt Disney World. So really, it's all the same. Ya get a good deal here or there once in a while.good luck.

I like the fact that I can pay for the hotel now and not worry about saving money for it later BUT just wondering if third party guests that don't book directly with the hotel get the same treatment as those that do. Are we given the left over rooms or the same quality of service.
