Hotels already sold out in October 2020?

Newbie here and looking for some advice from the experts!

I am looking to book Pop Century or All Star Movies in the second week of November 2020, but the UK Disney website (and partner websites like booking.com) are showing no availability on either at any point during November. Are they really both already sold out already? Pop Century is showing as having availability the next week, so I am thinking that means it is sold out - which I am surprised as my research shows that following Jersey Week and before Thanksgiving is a somewhat quieter period.

It could be they're sold out of discounted rooms, not sure which UK discounts might be running.

I did some dummy searchs for a monday 11/9 to monday 11/16, movies only had preferred but Pop had ton of availability.

I booked our room for October 2020 months ago, just after they were released by Disney. Even at that stage there was inventory missing. Wilderness Lodge for example was not available for a full block of 7 days at any point in October, and value and moderate availability was a very mixed bag. I think disney.co.uk only gets limited inventory and when it has gone it has gone. Keep checking and things may open up again later though as people are cancelling all the time. Alternatively, try booking through the US website or a US specialist Disney agency, but that will inevitably cost you more than a uk booking would cost due to the exchange rate at the moment...

I just pulled up the week of 11/8-11/14 on the US Disney website, and there was availability in all room categories at POP. It could be that the packages you're trying to book are sold out, but the resorts definitely aren't.

Ok thanks that’s really helpful to know there is lots of availability on the US site, I think I’ll probably keep checking the UK website and hopefully they’ll release more rooms over time.
