Used them the last couple years. Their site doesn;t seem to be working this morning. Anyone use them recently? Still a good source for bargains? or does anyone have any other sites for good hotel deals?

A few more to add...

La Quinta has great rates on weekend stays and can be booked 3 weeks in advance now. click on weekend deals

You can get 20% off (if available) on any Choice Hotel brand (Comfort, Clarion, Quality, etc.) through the Smarter Travel link. I always look there first.

Marriott also sends e-mails for great weekend rates if you sign up on their website.

I would try any of the sites spiceycat posted or these before booking with hotelkingdom. You may find a much better rate you'd be happy with.

Oh, forgot to post one more---

If you're any work for the government in a city, county, state, or federal, you can book condos at getravelop.com. They're booking for $329 for the week right now, but they do go up about $20 or so each year. We paid $249/week the first year we signed up.

As far as I can tell, hotelkingdom.com is working -- but the layout/display is a little "off" for me (I'm using Firefox, haven't looked with Internet Explorer) - so the problems may be different for you.

I was able to do a quote and select a room, so it's probably OK...they just might be having a problem with the code that controls the display & layout.
