Hotel within Walking Distance worth staying at for itself?

Hotels worth it for themselves? Residence Inn Maingate is comfortable and has tennis/basketball, decent pool, and a kids play area. Hojo's is great, love the water play area. Hilton is very nice, pool area is great, and they have a spa area, decent restaurant, Starbucks, etc...
