Hi all, we all had our hearts set on staying at Coronado Springs for our "last minute" trip in 3 mos....but they're booked. We're looking to stay offsite possibly, but DD9 LOVES slides, and we're not going to a water park this time so we kind of "promised" a hotel with a slide at least to make up for the non-water-park trip......are there any good hotels offsite (under $200/night--need 2 queen beds) that have pools with water slides? I've looked at several, and while they have pools and maybe fountains, waterfalls etc, no slides.....anyone?
Thanks!!!!

Marriott Horizons Vacation Club has a slide & great pirate themed pools. I think if you rented directly with an owner you could get it in your price range.

You could also try Windsor Hills or Reunion Resort. WH has a big water slide in their main pool area. www.windsorhillsrent.com
Reunion has a mini waterpark with slides and lazy river. You can find both places on the vrbo listings for Kissimmee.

You can rent a condo, townhouse or pool home directly from the owners.
Most of these are under $200. especially at WH. The condos and townhouses are from $80 - 150. depending on season. Reunion is a little more expensive. WH is about 3 yrs old and Reunion is 2yrs old . Both are very nice. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info. I have another question, on the Sheraton Safari....why are the rates so different, some in the 100s others, seemingly the same room type, in the 200s? Is there a newer section or something so the old rooms get the lower price? Thanks, it looks like a great place!

The Country Inn at Calypso Cay Lake Buena Vista has a lovely pool with a slide into the pool.

There is a new Clarion hotel/resort in Kissimee which has a free waterpark attached.

Website is

clarionwaterpark.com

They do charge a dialy $12 resort fee which I guess is most probably paying for the waterpark, but it does look good and completely new hotel etc.

I have no ideal - seems strange to me. Like it is a mistake - which sometimes the hotel website make.

go for the $100 rooms and see if you can get them.

your kids were not scare of the snake? - I mean the slide is a snake.

DD9 will LOVE it!

You may want to call for the cheapest rate at the Nick Hotel. I called and got a really good rate that wasn't listed on the website. We have also stayed at the Sheraton Safari. We liked it too. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but my girls wanted to go back to Nick.

I would check on Travelzoo for Nick Hotel rates. They often have the best rates for them and if your child likes slides they will LOVE it there!

The slide at the Marriott world pool was fantastic as is the giant pool. Check out their site.
