Hotel with shuttle bus

Not wanting to drive when we visit Florida next Christmas, we want to book a nice hotel which has a shuttle bus to all the disney parks, universal and sea world.

I have looked at The Double Tree Castle - does anyone know anything about this place?

I want to stay on I-Drive where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from etc.

We want somewhere which is a fairly good standard, but not too business like if possible, somewhere friendly with plenty of facilities. Last time we visted in 2000 we stayed The Sheraton World, which was nice but it was full of men in suits and was so quiet we felt we had to tip-toe around everywhere! I suppose visiting at christmas time it wouldnt be like this though would it?

using the hotel shuttle can be a pain and it won't get to the parks early - really necessary for WDW.

some of the hotel shuttles are not just for that hotel - like the Day Inn are for all the Day Inn in that area - (we stayed at the one in LBV and it stopped at 3 more in LBV before it headed to the parks)

How long are you staying?

if you are staying long enough I would find a hotel that is close to Lynx (the bus service for Orlando/Kissimmee/Lake buena Vista) - it would be cheaper than a hotel shuttle and to most of the parks it has a scheduled stop.

I would recommend you renting a car - but I guess from England you don't want to drive over here.
