Hi all,

Am planning to do a weeknd at Universal (Easter) - prior to a week at WDW- with our two teen boys and possibly 2 of their friends which brings us to 4-6 people, depending. Usually I book everything way ahead but have been a little disorganized lately. Looks like room rates are really high and somewhat unavailable at HRH (although we've stayed there before so would like to try one of the other on-sites this time). My question is: what do you think is my best bet , both for hotel (PBH vs RPH) , and for type of room (2 connecting rooms vs. some sort of suite) Would love any and all input asap as I have a call into my AAA office for help as well.

Thanks! :)

I would say HRH but since you wanted to try something different, I would go with RPR. I have teens too, 12, 17 & 19. We have never stayed at PB but have gone over to visit, my 12 yr old liked that one & has asked to stay there (the older ones didn't). We have stayed at the HRH & RPR. They like the HRH the best... the music :goodvibes (so do I :teeth: )

Thanks for your advice...I decded to go with PBH because I plan to stay back at the hotel much of the time this time while the boys are at the park. After 15 years of commando-style park going, I think I deserve a little break :)

You can definatly stay back for your rest & relaxation there :goodvibes . Close your eyes & pretend you are off in Italy somewhere ;) , especially with them off at the parks.... enjoy your trip :sunny:
