Can anyone recommend a cheap, nice hotel to stop at overnight in Florence, SC or somewhere close to it? We were thinking of staying overnight here on our drive to Orlando. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Kim

Sleep Inn (Florence) is cheap (we paid $49 AAA rate in June). It's clean and convenient to several restaurants.

just stayed clean exit 164 off I-95 there are 2 so ask for the one at this exit Lucis road i think but that is the exit

Try Country Inn & Suites.
Right off I-95. Very clean and breakfast is included.

We stayed at Springhill Suites. Very nice rooms (large) with 2 beds and a sleeper sofa. The free breakfast was one of the best we've ever had (not like Embassy, as I recall, but much nicer than Comfort Suites, etc) with a good selection of cereal, pastries, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, etc. Also, at least in the Springhill we last stayed in (near Pittsburgh) they had very good coffee. I don't remember how much it cost (I think around $100), but that was just before spring vacation and it might be less expensive at other times of the year.
