Hotel to sleep 6

I'm not new to Disney area hotels but I seem to be stumped! I need an affordable option for the Sat. and Sunday nights the weekend after Easter. We prefer staying on property but the rates I keep seeing are really high for these dates.

I would like to sleep all six in a suite of some sort but 2 rooms will do. I would like to pay no more than around $200 a night if possible. We want to be pretty close to the parks. We've stayed at Stovall's, Del Sol, and the Candycane Inn before. Of those three, we liked the Candycane but don't want to pay $140 each for two rooms. The beds are horrible at the Del Sol but the location was good. I hated everything about the Stovall other than the topiaries. It was a long walk, the beds were like rocks and the noise (including the birds living in the AC) was too much for me to sleep through.

The only place we've been with a 2 bd/rm suite was the Camelot,right across the street. Pretty nice place.

I assume your dates are April 10,11th. I checked Desert Inn and Suites and their suites fit your bill under $200 ($189 for a C-1) I would book ASAP before the prices go up. Across the street, 4Q beds 2 bathrooms

I booked a mini-suite at the Best Western Park Place Inn just across the street on Harbor Blvd (at the crosswalk). One big room with 3 queen beds (one of the three is a sofa sleeper).

I haven't stayed there yet, but would sleep 6.

We have four kids and have stayed at BWPPI three times in their mini-suites. Price is usually 130-150. We like the three queen beds, the proximity to DLR, and the mini-fridge and microwave.

I know nothing about the various hotels it lists, but at least it is a list and a place to start. Perhaps you can find ones that at least look good on paper/website and then aks other disers about the specific hotels.

I would also recommend Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites right across the street. We stayed in one of their C-2 suites in July with 5 people. We had 4 queen beds, a sofa bed and 2 full bathrooms. It was very comfortable and you can't beat the proximity to DL. The only thing we didn't like was the indoor pool. It's small and can get crowded, plus it's very humid in there. It would be great for a winter trip, but my kids said they'd prefer an outdoor pool in the summer.

We have stayed at RI Maingate and the suites have lots of room. Have not checked their prices lately. Everything seems to be up($$$) more than last year.

Try Homewood suites, it's a little further down the road on Harbor Blvd. but there is a ART stop right in front of the hotel. They have a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. One room has a king size bed, the other has 2 queens and the living room has a queen pull out sofa bed. Pleanty of space, plus they have complimentary breakfast and dinners mon-thurs, booze too.
