Hotel/Ticket package question

I like the 4day + 3 promo...but I was curious about something. We are bringing grandma and grandpa, but they aren't interested in the hopper pass like we are... they only want to go to MK with the kids, and then they are resting at the hotel/condo and sightseeing Orlando. I've found good deals, but it makes everyone purchase the tickets... can we get a condo, OR 2 adjoining rooms and only tickets for a portion of the family...is that a possibility?
We're trying to find the best deal possible.

If you book two rooms, then all the people in one room can have a different kind of ticket versus all the people in the other room. If a room is booked by itself (no package, no dining credits, no get three free) then no tickets need be ordered for those occupants. Those without tickets can buy tickets at a park or at the resort front desk, or in advance from a discount ticket agent, as needed.

I believe that most condo's* don't have ticket packages for guests who rent although a few might.

* I don't think the Disney Vacation Club is a condominium since its members don't actually own anything.
