Hotel switch

I had originally booked GCH for our July visit because it was $400 less that DLH. Now, the prices are the same. My kids really want to stay at the DLH so I switched. Personally, I love the proximity of the GCH but we'll stay there for our Christmas visit. We now have an upper level view room, of either DD or the pool. The CM noted our request of the Dreams tower with a DD view but she couldn't guarantee it. Also, she didn't know if the pool would be under construction. Hopefully I didn't just give up the GCH for a not so great room or experience but the kids really wanted to switch.

Should I call again to request the Dreams tower or just wait until I get there?

You gave up are room at GCH because you were able to book DLR for the same price? Are you on drugs?

Not good ones anyways! Just allergy meds for these crazy N. CA allergies!

Yes, I did, because my girls really want to stay at the DLH. We go over the holidays and always stay at the GCH because that's the only hotel DH will stay at. But this trip, its just the kids and myself so I let them decide. I really don't care.

I very much prefer the DLH over the Grand ~ sure the Grand has a nice lobby *that anyone can enjoy* but our room was small & dark.
