Hotel Suggestions - CHEAP

I am planning a trip to Universal for my DH for our anniversary. We need to keep it fairly budget and I don't know where to start.

Cheap Hotels? As long as they are clean and quiet we won't complain... does anyone have 2 or 3 suggestions as a jumping off point? We will have our own car.

I know it is always more budget friendly to buy more days in the parks but we may only have one day. Are there any discount tickets? We do have AAA.

For budget hotels I have stayed at Extended Stay America and thought it was just fine - basic - yes - but clean and safe.

Other than that I might look into booking through hotwire, priceline or lastminutetravel. For hotwire and priceline I use betterbidding.com for information and for lastminutetravel since the hotels are id'ed by photos you can find out which one it is by looking at photos on other websites like tripadvisor.com.
