Hotel Suggestion

Can anyone recommend a hotel near Disney that offers suites and has a great pool area (slides, lazy river, etc) for kids?

We have stayed at Sunterra Cypress Pointe once which had a volcano pool and some slides. No lazy river though. Our room was a 3 bedroom condo. Do you have a budget in mind?

Embassy suites is close not to mention the Townplace by marriott.

Around a $100 - $125 per night

I think we paid around $130/night at Cypress Pointe which was about 3 years ago. You shouldn't have a problem finding something in your budget range. Of course as long as your not going during schools breaks or major holidays.

We just came back from the Sheraton Safari, which has suites and a great pool with a water slide shaped like a snake. My kids, 7 and 3, wanted to leave the parks every day in the afternoon to swim for a few hours. The hotel is close to parks, and very near Downtown Disney. We did rent a car so we could avoid waiting for the shuttle. We used Starwood points and got 3 nites free (for 3000 points each, regular room) but I know people are using priceline for this hotel as well with good success. The pool is great, the room was okay, and we asked for a fridge which was delivered promptly and saved us even more $$. This hotel is on Apopka-Vineland, and is near many restuarants if you want to eat off-site also. Try for a poolside suite. Good luck.

Sheraton Safari does have a nice pool and slide..also you may get lucky and be able to get the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress on Priceline or Hotwire as some have gotten it for a reasonable price lately (even the Hyatt website has had some good deals)

The Sheraton has a better slide but it is hard to get a good rate. The Radisson is a nice property with a good slide
