Hotel suggestion for 4 adults

I would like to get some suggestions for a "Good Neighbor" hotel that has larger rooms, perhaps even a suite type of situation that is not outrageously expensive. Preferably one that has a breakfast but, that is an option. Since I have only been to DL twice before I am not terribly familiar with the nearby hotels.

Well, I will be staying at Embassy Suites South in June. I have not been to this one, but have stayed at others. They have the best breakfast included of any hotel I've been in. Cooked to order and things you get yourself. You get two rooms with a hide a bed in the living room and two beds in the bedroom. Not sure how you need to plan sleeping arrangemnets.

A few years ago my family went with my parents and stayed at in a suite with a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms. But we didn't pay for that and I don't remember the name. It did have a free breakfast and had "suites" in the name. How's that for helpful?

Both are not within walking distance. You would need to drive or take ART.

We like the Residence Inn Maingate. Nice breakfast, managers special, suites have a lot of room to to them.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton (Garden Grove) last Sept and booked there again for our trip this Sept. It was remodeled last year and every thing was very clean an updated and classy. Last year we booked a 1 BR Suite for $98.10 a night (senior rate for 3 adults 2 kids). This year the senior rate for same room was $132.05 a night. We loved the hotel. Staff was VERY helpful, rooms were clean. We are getting the Deluxe 1 BR suite (corner room) with more space this year just for more moving around room. The breakfast was great -- make your own waffles, different hot foods each day, cereals, and juice. The big breakfast plus was the large sitting area to eat in. We never had to wait for a table. We had a rental car and drove to the park each day. This year Homewood is charging $12 a day parking but that is waived if you stay 6+ nights.
