Hotel shuttles or cab?

We normally drive to DL but we are considering flying this time. We are staying at Hojos. Do they offer a shuttle to pick you up from the airport or do we just get a cab? If so on the cab how much would this run us? Thanks.

None of the area hotels offer a free shuttle that I am aware of (not even the DLR hotels).

Which airport are you thinking about flying into?

I've got the exact same question.

We're arriving at LAX and staying at the Camelot this April. There are 6 of us in my family. I priced out Super Shuttle, it's $16 per person one way so $96 in total.

I'm wondering if a private limo wouldn't price out about the same?

Thanks for your advice.

If you're coming into one of the close-by airports, you could use a cab and negotiate for a flat rate, at least coming from the airport. If coming from further away (and actually if at SNA) I'd use Disneyland Express (not to be confused with the free bus at WDW), which is run by Grayline, or Super Shuttle.

NWT, with that many people you might definitely check into a limo.

For anyone still thinking of airports, before making the ticket purchase based solely on price, be SURE to check out your travel options! I did that, choosing ONT airport b/c of the price, then found out supershuttle to/from ONT was MUCH more expensive than to/from the other airports. I think I still broke even, but given that total I would have preferred to land at SNA (Orange County airport = John Wayne Airport = Santa Ana Airport = SNA) for more per ticket, but be *right there* for less on supershuttle.

I believe that Orange County - John Wayne Airport is the closest to DL. My DH and I usually cab it from there and it runs us about $35.00 for the trip. If traffic is bad, it may be $40.00.

If you've got a large group (and you won't fit into a taxi-van), you might want to look at a limo.

anyone know of a good shuttle service from SNA, or is a taxi the best way to go?? Staying at the HoJo

We flew into LGB and took a mini van taxi to HoJos. They have a flat rate to Disneyland, so it doesn't matter how bad traffic is. We had 6 ppl so the taxi was better for us (if you had 2 it would probably be better to take a shuttle) it was $40 there and they tried to charge us $50 on the way back but after DH bargained with them, they gave us the same $40 on the way back to the airport.
