Hotel Shuttle Question.

Hi everyone! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland on Sept. 20-25th, coming from Washington state and flying out of John Wayne airport. Our flight is at 8:00am and we will have 1 checked bag...but the shuttle won't arrive at the airport until 6:30, which is just shy of the two hour mark.

My question---will this be an issue? Should I take a taxi just in case or will we have no trouble making our flight on time?

Thanks in advance!

I usually like to be there 2 hours ahead, but I checked the SNA website and they say 90 minutes to 2 hours. I don't know what airline you're using but we usually use Alaska Airlines and they recommend 90 minutes for domestic flights with bags. I would make sure that you check in online though.

I think you will be there in plenty of time. Granted, I have never flown out of SNA that early in the morning, but I have also never had any trouble at all with crowds or long lines. The airport is very small and everything is close together. It has never taken me more than 15 minutes to get from the check in counter through security to the gate. I think the rules now re: checked baggage require you to check bags at least 45 minutes before your flight, so there is no need to arrive 2 hours before your flight.
