Hotel shopping! help!?!? Orlando

Hello, I'm planing a trip to Orlando with my boyfriend and i was trying to figure out which hotels have nice views of the Park, resort or not? Also we plan to visit Universal studios as well and it seems all the hotels only offer shuttle service to either Disney or Universal, but not both. I'm not opposed to renting a car but I prefer not to and save us the hassle of parking and traffic. So if some one could please help with the following questions.

Which hotels have good views of the theme parks?

Which hotel offer shuttle service to both disney and universal?

Are you (or your BF) over 25? Offsite shuttles are on a schedule, frequently require a reservation, make multiple stops and the last shuttle may be not be late enough for you to stay and enjoy fireworks. Driving is much less of a hastle.

You don't want to drive? Stay at a WDW hotel. Disney transportation is great. Either rent a car for the days you want to go to Universal or sign up for the Mears shuttle.

Very few hotels offer free shuttles to Disney and Universal. Check the Nick hotel, Bueana Vista Suites and some of the hotels (Residence Inn?) near Sea World.

To have a nice view of any Disney Park, you will have to stay onsite. There are some offsite hotels in the Universal Parks that may offer you a view. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of the names. When (and if ) it comes to me, I will post them. I know there are taller tower hotels that if your room is facing the correct way, you will see them from the I-Drive area.
