Spending two nights in March. Choice is $69/nt for a king bed and Disney view at the BW LBV or king bed/tower room with probable view at HRP for $139/nt. I've read good and very bad reviews of BW LBV and am getting nervous. HRP tower rooms seem to get pretty good reviews...but seem overpriced. Has anyone stayed in both? Is it worth it to pay double the price for HRP?

BTW-got Renaissance Resort near SeaWorld for $69/nt on Priceline for last night in Orlando!

Hello, losthat 1

We have stayed at the BW LBV many times in the last 13 years. Stayed there the first time DH and I went to Florida together, so perhaps it's a sentimental thing.

The rooms have been recently rennovated, they are spacious as is the bathroom and outside dressing area. Has a coffee maker, iron and ironing board and in-room safe.

Have never stayed at the Hotel Royal Plaza. But for $69 a night I would not hesitate one bit to stay there.

Have Fun!!:sunny:

HRP rooms are nice is you get a tower room. Last time there we only paid $49 per night in 9/2003 . I would stay at the BW with the price difference. But call the HRP and ask if there are any special rates for mousesavers ect. the rooms are larger than the BW but not worth that amount of difference your currently at

HRP - stayed on the 12th Floor in a Tower Suite facing DTD & PI. Nice view, I could see the fireworks every night, in the distance I could also see the fireworks at Epcot.

I'm not sure when in March you are going, but TravelZoo.com is having a special for $89 a night with a free upgrade to a Tower room at HRP. You must book your reservation by Feb. 18 and the first night's deposit is non-refundable. Also, you get one night free if you are staying over 4 nights. Check it out before you make your decision!

BTW, we have stayed at HRP several times and have always enjoyed our stay. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The tower rooms are nicer, but the poolside rooms were nice too. In the tower you get a better view, larger bathroom with roman tub and I think the rooms were a little larger.

I made our ressies today for a quick weekend trip at the end of the month.

Good luck with your decision!:sunny:
