Hotel Royal Plaza $79 a night

We don't have that deal, but we have the one that you get from Mousesaver's newsletter. We are paying $79, including tax and resort fee, but we get a $10 gas card at check in, so it works out to be $69 including everything. Great deal! :)

But Travelzoo's is good too. :thumbsup2

Good to know. I just thought that it sounded like a pretty good deal. We tend to stay at Disney resorts, so I don't usually keep up with other onsite hotels. However, I am considering staying at the Hilton next time because we most likely will be able to stay for free. My honey travels for a living, so those reward points add up. Maggie

Thanks for posting.

I just booked this for one night in Oct. I stayed there on the same rate deal earlier this summer and for the price it can't be beat!

Travezoo's offer includes an upgrade to the Towers room... probably an overall better deal since the Motor Lodge-style rooms are significantly inferior to Tower...

Mary's deal includes "one free upgrade". sorry, I forgot to mention that before.

I booked the "lowest" standard room, at $63, but I forget what I get when I upgrade. I think it's pool view or something, I don't really care about that though. I think if you booked the next step up (I forgetwhat the price was, maybe $75?)then you would get the upgrade to the tower rooms. Maybe someone on here booked it so they could tell us. I was just going for the cheapest room. :teeth:

I think the Tower rooms are a little bigger and they have the Roman style tub, right? But the other rooms I would hardly call motel style. They just revamped the whole hotel, inside and out. They have pillow top mattresses, granite counter tops, and they have Bath and Body Works shampoo and stuff.

anyway, it's a great deal and I haven't stayed there since 1978 when I was a child. Can't wait!! :goodvibes

Is this a DTD resort? Thank you very much. I am asking for a co-worker.

I tried to get this for our dates, Dec. 2 - 9 and it's not available then. :sad2:

I love this DTD property. Its our 1st choice for an offsite hotel :thumbsup2

I stayed there Friday and Saturday night. I was not impressed at all. I used the mousesavers discount. I booked 2 rooms and was upgraded to a deluxe tower room. It was a joke. I was on the second floor with a view of the roof. My balcony was a part of the roof with a rail around it. beyond my balcony was a wall and an air conditioner an exhaust fan and a skylight. The shower in my room didn't work. The light in the shower of my second room didn't work. It started raining on Friday night, causing the sattelite dish to lose signal. I got up Saturday morning and showered in the trickle of water. I spoke with someone at the front desk at 7:30 AM and told her about both of my showers. When I returned 13 hours later the showers were not fixed. I called down again and they sent someone right up. It was a hassle having to wait before I could take a decent shower after being out in the heat all day. The elevators were very worn and very creeky. I would not stay there again.
