im planning a 2009 trip to disney how far in advance should i book a room

I like to book as soon as I know when I want to go, and where I want to stay. The downside is paying the deposit at rack while waiting for the discounts to come out. When the discounts come out, you can call to get your rate adjusted. At least this way, you have a room for where/when you want to go.

I would think it would depend on what resort and the view that you want. For example, if you wanted a MK view at the Contemporary Resort, then I would book right at the 499 day out mark. However, if you just wanted a standard room at the Pop Century, you have a little more time to make your ressie.
