I know I saw a thread on hotel room babysitting a while back, but can't find it.
Does anyone know the name of a service that does in room babysitting at the Universal hotels?
We're going in October and my sister wants a babysitter for my nephew for part of the time. (a toddler):)

At WDW we used Fairy Godmothers. I would think that they would travel to Universal. The two times we used them they were good, although expensive. This visit we will have my teen daughter with us and will have her sit once. Much cheaper! :)

I used Kindercare in WDW. They charged $17 an hour then, may be more now.

Thanks everyone. My sister wants to be able to take him to the park, but then drop him off with someone after he's had enough.:)
You know how toddlers are....;)

Sunshine Babysitting charges $14.00/hr. for one child, $1 each additional plus $10.00 transportation charge.

Is there an age limit as far as children go? My friend and I will have a total of 5 kids with us, two who will be 14. They don't really need to be babysat, but the younger ones will need to be (2, 5, 11). How does that work? I am thinking about hiring someone because I don't want the older boys to have that kind of responsibility on vacation. Also, will the sitters take children to a pool?

I personally would not be comfortable if someone I didn't know was taking my 2 yr old to the pool. Are you expecting the sitter to get in the pool with your child? I would make my expectations very clear if this is what you expect.

As far as the pool goes, I would make sure that the service knew I wanted someone to take my kids to the pool. I would discuss the qualifications of the person (do they have red cross life guard training), and also what my children can and can't do, as well as how well they can swim. In addition, I would ask if they felt I needed two sitters instead of one.

FL_Sunshine, can you provide any more info about sitters and pools?

If there is an infant, 2 sitters may be requested allowing the older child to have more fun....
