Hi-
Looking for recommendations for a weekend trip. No kids. Last time we tried we attempted the B Resort and it was an epic fail. We will have a car, so proximity is not an issue. Just want something clean and nice. Thanks!

If you are just doing Disney look at the Flamingo Crossing hotels, Hilton and Marriott. Great location, good prices. Marriott a few years old, Hiltons are new.

If you want more access to Disney Springs and offsite, look along Palm Parkway. I've got the Hilton Homewood booked for a few trips, the Hampton is newly renovated, there are several Marriotts and then Rosen and others. The Sonesta ES is a suite setup but getting good reviews since they took it over from Staybridge.

I was going to suggest Flamingo Crossing area as the previous poster said. There are SOOOO many places, but this area is newer and pretty close. The only downside I would say is that it lacks in grocery/dining options without hopping in the car and paying the 75 cent-ish tool to get to 192 or another heavily populated area.

Have also stayed in the "Disney Springs" area and while it is fine in terms of "clean and nice", traffic can become an issue. Flamingo Crossing has an advantage to this in my opinion!

Yes we just stayed at sonesta it was wonderful..

You did not say what you were looking to pay..
I paid sonesta es about $100 .
I can get Dolphin for just under 200 and use disney transportation

Are they using Disney transportation again? It was reported last fall they no longer would and Mears would be doing buses just for them, which doesn't really matter except they said MK would go to TTC not park. I know it was still this way in spring.

We used the ones to the ttc.. ( mears)
It was still better than walking to the car without a tram..

Flamingo Crossing looks like a good option. Just need to decide which hotel now…
I've been researching these hotels and chose Home2 Suites for our Thanksgiving trip. I like Hilton as a brand and I also like that this hotel and Homewood are very new. Though they are going to open a new Fairfield Inn and Residence Inn over there next month. Those look very nice but a bit pricier than the Hiltons.
