Hotel Recommendations Disney Springs/Universal

My family of 4 is making a quick trip for Halloween Horror Nights on Friday, November 1st, followed by Disney Springs and Story Book Dining dinner at the Wilderness Lodge on Saturday. We are currently considering the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal. Also, if there are any other nice hotels in those areas that folks would recommend, we certainly wouldn’t mind something a bit less expensive! Thank you!

There are lots of hotels so just to focus on the two you listed and your plans ....

I would stay at Doubletree Universal so that I was close by after a late night at HHN. I'd also walk to park to avoid parking fee.

Location doesn't matter for Saturday plans ... and Hilton DS is in need of renovation so unless you got a huge discount I wouldn't stay there.

Agreed with this. I've stayed at the DT by Universal a few times. I like that hotel a lot. Easy walk too, and get to enter where the valet parking is, so right at the entrance of City Walk
