hotel recommendation for anyone headed to DC

We just got back from a weekend in DC. I know several people are heading there soon so I thought I'd give you my opinion of the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is beautiful and our room was big, clean and comfortable. We booked on Hyatt's website and got an AAA rate of $119 that included buffet breakfast. The buffet was nice and the hotel has lots of restaurants w/i walking distance. It's also w/i walking distance of the mall although the metro is right at the hotel as well.

We'd definitely stay there again .

How was the pool, that is one of the requirements for the 4 kids that will be going with us??

Thanks for the tip. I checked out their website, but got an error due to having 3 kids. I wonder which one I should leave home?!

We didn't use the pool but I did take a look at it while I was using the fitness center. It was a decent looking hotel pool. There were lots of kids there but they seemed to all have enough room and to be getting along. The hotel charges $11 per day per room for use of the pool.
