Hotel Reccomendations

Taking a last minute adults only weekend trip. Will have a car and will plan on only doing 1 park day and then just spending sometime exploring. Normally stay on property or a villa…any suggestions for clean and moderately priced hotel? Won’t be using amenities, just need a nice clean place to sleep! Free parking is a plus.

I’d look at the assortment of hotels in the Flamingo Crossings area. There are several of various price levels and hotel system affinities.

Flamingo Crossings is nice because it is less congested. However, there is less over there. With a car, it's an easy drive into Disney.

Palm Parkway is another stretch of chain hotels. There are more food options in that area, but also more congestion and traffic. Still, not terrible.

Add any resort fee and parking fee to the hotel rate, when doing comparisons.

Do you have an AP? If not consider staying onsite. Theme parking fees might offset hotel savings

I just stayed at Flamingos Crossing this week. There was a $10 parking fee/day. And Western Way was crazy congested between 4:30 - 6:00 PM leaving WDW. There are a couple of eateries and a small Target with groceries.

I'd look at the Marriott Vacation Club Properties and Sheraton Vistana Resort for free parking...

Hyatt Grand Cypress if you don't care about free parking.

If you’re open to something a little more casual, there are plenty of mid-range hotels that provide all the basics you need for a short stay. Many offer great city views and are located near restaurants and shopping areas, so you'll have plenty to do if you want to venture out after your park day. A brisbane cbd hotel would give you great access to local attractions, plus many have free parking, which could be helpful if you're planning on exploring the city.
