Hotel Question

Having stayed at both Hotel l'Elysee and Sequoia Lodge, my vote would be option 3. Your trip is so short, that having to do a split stay will really cut into your park time. Its a false economy for Disneyland Paris to try to do it like an American park, and not do the hotel park tickets package.

If the difference is that small I would stay onsite. We are talking less than 50 euro per person. In the grand scheme of money you are going to spend on this trip...

You can also look at Santa Fe to stay onsite. It is cheaper than Sequoia.

Don't forget to check the different country sites. US is usually the most expensive, not sure about Canada tbh, but the different EU country websites of dlp are usually cheaper.

To get over your jetlag, having a park ticket on your arrival day might help. Arrive at the hotel late afternoon. Rest. Settle in. Then go into the park for a few hours to get familiar with it. You do not need to stay till close (depending on the season the park closes somewhere between 9 and 11pm), but for a few hours it might be nice.

Also, what is the plans of the Dutch friend? He/she won't need rest to recover from a long flight. They could come in early and already go into the park before you arrive. Their energy level will differ from yours.

I would have no doubt and go with 3. For 200 euro (less than 20% extra) you get:
- avoid the hassle of an hotel transfer
- get early entry on your park days
- stay in the Disney bubble
- 15 minutes walk to the parks, much quicker than waiting for the hotel shuttle or take the RER (which comes with an extra cost)
- shorter security lines (on average)
- Restaurants reservations 1 year in advance

No brainer.

With option 3, You can even sneak in an extra hour or 2 at the parks in the 27th and 30th if your flight times allow

Same here....stay onside. It is worth the extra 200,-€.

We are always staying at the SQL Hotel and it is a great place to start your Disney days.

Go with option #3 and save the hassle of the hotel transfer. Also, you might want to be in the parks more than you think. We were just there at the end of September 2024, stayed in Sequoia, and had an amazing time.
