Hotel Question

Which hotel would have the shortest walk to the main entrance... DLH or Ramada Maingate. I am trying to book a room and the closest hotel across the street from DL is Ramada...all the rest have no availability on the day I need. Help!!

The Ramada Maingate is closer, however at the DLH you have the option to use the Monorail to travel to and from DL.

I like this simple map. Shows you the other hotels closer than Ramada.

Unless you're going to go to Tomorrowland, and be in or passing by Tomorrowland every time you enter or leave DL, it's hard for me to convince myself that I'm saving time.

We took the monorail in one morning when we were heading to FL, and it was such pain. It's pretty much easier (mentally if not totally physically in steps counted) to just walk on in, IMO, especially because we ALWAYS had to wait for the next monorail (bad timing).

When we stayed at PPH the very first time, we didn' tknow the shortcut for PPH going through GCH, so we walked to or past the monorail every morning and evening...we were only able to take it ONCE, b/c it was down all the other times (though I will state that that was in '07, not recently). Just added to frustrations...


I, personally, if worried solely about distance, would stay on Harbor.
