Hotel pre Covid

Hi
just booked the Fairfield in near airport ( Augusta drive
havs any of you stayed there how is their shuttle services ?
dton airport to hotel
and hotel to airport ( will take my dcl from airport )
any good restaurant near to recommend ( we will not have car )
usually sleep at wdw but this time around since arriving mid pm decided to sat close to airport
give me your feedback if you stayed there

We stayed there in January. We called the front desk when we got to the luggage pick up. They were there in about 10 minutes. The shuttle driver was very nice and recommended some places to eat for us. We walked the 10 minutes to the shopping center that is just around the corner and went to a pizza place(ilovenypizzaplus.com), but there’s a lot of other options there too. Pizza was good. Atmosphere was mediocre. It might be a faster walk if you don’t have a seven year old.

Where did you wait for the shuttle at airport

We went outside from the baggage carousel and actually stood near the Disney Cruise Line Luggage sign (I don't know if it is always there though). We just told them where we were (which was near parking spot B41)...so I think now we must have waited until we were outside.
