Hi all..wow its been a while since I have logged on here. anyways, I have a couple of questions. I am once again planning another trip, hopefully in September..But OW its 6 months away! UGH!!

I am looking for a hotel room for 3 or 4 adults. We are looking to save as much money as possible since we are pretty broke due to the economy but since september iis 6 months away, we have 6 months of savings to do. Last year, we stayed at the Hyatt Orange County (i believe) thats down the street. With hotel, it came with free shuttle to and from the park periodically throughout the day. We actually got tired during the day, took the shuttle to the hotel, took a nap, went swimming, and ate dinner then went back to the park. It was awesome lol. We would liek that same experience. We actually got that room on priceline for like $60 but if i choose priceline again it doesn't mean i will get that same hotel :[

anyways, we are looking for a room that either has a shuttle or is in walking distance (NOT FAR) of the park so we could chill in the room for a couple hours in the day and also is not that expensive. Please let me know of any great hotels you guys have stayed at that you think we would enjoy! Thanks! :p

We're staying at the Hojo for $69 a night. We opted for the deluxe rooms with a fridge and micro. They have basic rooms for $59 and Disney view rooms for $79. You can also request adjoining rooms. That's if you can get the entertainment card rate and the earlier you book the better. If the ent. rate isn't available you can get a discount by mentioning these boards or Mousesavers (check the mousesavers website for more details).

We chose the Hojo because of the great rate, the fact that it is walking distance, and they have a great pool for our kids. We have stayed there before and it was decent for the price. Priceline makes me nervous because we are a family of 4 and they only guarentee rooms for 2.

Here is a link to the Hojo board with the ent. rates schedule: http://www.hojoanaheim.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=12&sid=6f56673356ac2787891d3a610e38bd8c
I booked in early Feb. for our May trip. At the time half our dates were ent. rate and the last two nights were at 15% off. But then they later added more dates to the ent. rate and mine were included. So I emailed and was able to get my res. changed to reflect all dates at the $69 rate. So my advice to you is to check the board often if you do book there.

as of now we want to go Sept 19th thru the 22nd or 23rd. So far, the ent rate is not on my dates so maybe later it will be :p anyways, we have no kids, its just us adults. The pool area looks like a blast even though I am 24 years old lol...how close to the park is HOJO?

It's not exactly right across the street as some of the hotels. It's about a 7 minute walk and totally doable. Here is a good map: http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap.html

If you decide to go with Hojos in hope that they will add your dates it wouldn't hurt to make ressies now. You can cancel up to 48 hours before your arrival.

I second HoJos; I think it's probably the most comfortable hotel on Harbor in walking distance, and if you can get the Ent rate it's certainly the best deal. They may very well add the Ent rate before your stay; you can book now and get 15% off DISboards rate (call them directly and talk to IN HOUSE reservations) and then if the rate becomes available, call them back and they will adjust it for you.

If you stay there, cross Harbor right there at Manchester and walk down on the other side. Then you go in by the bus stop, and it cuts a few minutes off your walking time, and you stay out of the crowds on the east side of Harbor. We went back to the hotel for a break every day; it's an easy walk.
