hotel/photo question

we are going to orlando on may 29 staying at the holiday inn(formally courtyard by marriot) lbv.i am sure i read somewhere that if you were staying at WDW hotel you did not pay car park charges at the parks, we know this is not an official WDW hotel, could someone please clarify if we pay or not.

also we are slightly worried about our films going through the X-ray machines at the airport both Gatwick and Orlando, do we get them to hand search them or upon returning is it best to get them developed before we leave Orlando, If yes where is the best place to have this done for quality and price.

You will have to pay car parking unless you are Annual Pass holders. "On site" means the official WDW Resort Hotels only.

With regards to camera film....dont leave the film in your suitcase, as it is these X-rays that can damage film. The machines that are used for hand luggage are safe. You can always double check this with the attendant, but I have always been told my film was safe in hand luggage.

Hotels and free parking - you only get free parking at the parks if you are staying at a Disney on-site hotel.

Films: Maybe we were lucky, but last trip we inadvertently packed our unprocessed film from my DDs camera and our disposable underwater camera in our suitcases and realised this too late (as we were checking in ), but all the flims and memory sticks from our digi camera were developed fine, phew
