Hi, I am staying at Port Orleans and will have my own car. Am I allowed to drive to the Contemporary for my Chef Mickey reservation, park there, take the monorail to MK and hang out in the parks all day? Not sure if this is frowned upon, thanks!

You are allowed to self park there for your Chef Mickey reservation but not for the rest of the day. You can valet park all day for a fee ($15?).

Or, you can just park at the TTC that morning and take the monorail over to CM's and then walk over to MK after breakfast.

Parking at a resort that you are not 'staying' at for park access is indeed frowned upon! Even if you have an ADR there. You are expected to park your car there while enjoying that resort...eating, shopping or even just exploring. But, once you leave that resort, your car needs to leave as well. Unless you have paid to valet park.
