Hotel Parking @ manchester airport for more than 14 days -what do you advise?

Hi

I normally book a hotel with parking through the holiday extas website - however this summer we are goin away for 24days. When I have tried booking a hotel with parking it gives a price for 14 days then it says the rest of the stay is priced at the hotels daily charge - however it does not specify what that is -

Anyone any advise on a good webste / hotel etc that I'll be able to book and use

We've booked, through Holiday Extras, before

Paid for 14 nights at Country House hotel (Manchester) and, not usually asked to pay any extra on our return - even though we've offered.
We spent 21 days in Italy a couple of years ago.......Paid for 14 days, with hotel, at Stansted Airport and offered to pay on our return. The Security guy said we'd paid for the package so nothing extra to pay - who am I to argue?

Daily charges are around £6 or £7 I think if they choose to enforce them

We did have to pay the extra and it is normally cheaper to book a long stay car park. not sure how far away you are - but would a taxi to the hotel be as cheap?

We stayed in the SAS Radisson last year and booked 14 days with car parking. They take the car off site somewhere and return it on your day of return. We actually needed 16 days and when I enquired they said it will be charged at the place they store the cars at daily rate which was about £7 a day. However, when we returned they didn't ask us for any more money just gave us the keys.

We have also used Premier parking which is ran by Manchester Airport, it is only about 10 minutes from the terminal but you do have to wait for it. It does have an inside area at the car park end which I thought would be handy rather than wait out in the cold and possibly rain/snow in December.

we stayed at the crowne plaza with 15 days parking was £104.

Stayed at the SAS Radisson also and charged £7 per extra night, the bill was settled before we flew out so we just had to pick the keys up on our return. We are staying for 19 nights next time but have been quoted for 14 nights parking, just have to inform them of the extra nights we want parking for.

I booked the Cresta court hotel for £70 with 15 nights parking

additional days are only £3

Hope its ok.

Its just a place to crash - I think I'll be to excited about my holiday to sleep

I am, after getting all the official ESTAs and the like out of the way and all that is left is the booking. Plus when I go on Virgin Atlantic's site it gives you the days, hours, minutes to your next flight. I am also reading trip reports.
