What hotels would you say, have the best hotel shuttles to and from Disney parks in October, except Disney hotels?

I have read that the DTD hotels have continual service just like Disney does. The other hotels with shuttles seem to all have "scheduled" service such as departures from the hotel a few scheduled times in the morning and then certain times for returns back from the parks, so that doesn't seem as convenient. I have thought about this and figured if we didn't drive, we could always take a shuttle to the parks and then just taxi back if it is not close to the time for the shuttle and we are ready to leave.

DTD is "adequate", but barely so. The Bonnet Creek area hotels have what might be "adequate" schedules as well.

Realistically, none of them are good enough to depend on completely.

A friend whose son is in a power wheel chair said Buena Vista Palace was awful for/to them. Driver pulled up in the bus (it had a lift, btw) and said "I hope you aren't planning on putting that chair in this bus." They were, he said no, and they waited over an hour for transporation to the MK.

if you are going to stay offsite - then you need a rental car.

both DD and BC are the best that offsite provides.

here is best western - this is typically of what offsite bus transportation is like.

it does not mention that once the bus is full -no more passengers - it does not come back again.

if you stay offsite and want to visit WDW then get a rental car - or stay onsite at a value disney resort.

Remember, you can also take a taxi to a disney park or resort if you miss a hotel bus or one isn't convienent. If you use a few $10 taxi rides to supplement the hotel bus service, it may still be cheaper than renting a car or staying on disney property depending on the deal you get.

also how far away she is staying at.

those taxi rides could easily become $30 a trip.
