Hotel or Resort stays with FurChildren

Have any of you taken your pets on vacation to WDW? And if so, what accommodations do y'all make for them while there? For example, what hotels or resorts would any of you recommend to me?

Furchildren? You mean dogs? No Disney resort(hotel) allows pets. No Disney park allows pets. If you camp at Fort Wilderness in your RV(tent?) you can bring pets. For everyone else there is a pet care facility across the street from Riverside.

Yes, I have a dog. Right, and I just read on the pet care facility by POR. It sounds pretty cool. I was just wondering if anyone used other hotels or resorts near by or maybe even a vacation rental home? Most rental homes I've researched do not allow pets.

Most people on this thread post about staying at Disney with family. You may find more information on off property hotels etc :http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15
