Hotel on IDrive

Going to WDW on 24/7/2003, not long now. Staying on International Drive at MIC Lakefront, now called Wellesely Inn, anyone have any info on this Hotel? Also what is the transport like from IDrive to WDW, not hiring a car, first timers to usa.

I believe the Lynx bus service will take you frim I Drive to WDW but I haven't stayed on I Drive so I'll leave the details to those who have!

We stayed in MIC Lakefront twice in 90 & 91. It was a really nice hotel, with lots of good restaurants within short walking distance. From what I remember there was also a convenient grocery store too.

All the rooms had a view of a lake and beyond the lake was WetnWild. The rooms were a reasonable size and clean.

There was a shuttle bus to all the major attractions for a small cost.

Thanks to Robbie and Shirely for your replies to my questions re: the MIC hotel on I drive, nice to know that someone has stayed there and it was fine.

Not long to go now, flying on the 24th July, soon be over there.
