Hotel next to Busch gardens Tampa

Can anyone reccomend a good hotel close to Busch Gardens?
Is there a hotel close enough you could walk to busch Gardens?
We want to stay over one night maybe two.

Do not stay on Bush Blvd at all. Bush Gardens is not in the most best of areas. There is a Bymont Inn I beleive arcross from BG's to the west that is OK. I really would try something closer to University of South Fl. which is just north of BG's. Try Embassy Suites, LaQuinta Inn, Double Tree or Best Western.
Try the web site called TripAdvisors.com. for reviews.
Other wise we have the best time every last June when we went to BG's. Loved the roller coasters.

good advice, stay on Fowler or 30th street. BG has suffered the way DW did, an influx of spotty areas around the park. Wingate is a good option as well. no property is within walking disatnce in general, but all have shuttles into the park.

AVOID The former Holiday Inn near Busch Gardens now known as "TAMPA HOTEL". We stayed there in Feb. not knowing it had changed hands and it was filthy.
