After looking to upgrade to DLH and realising its £870, we're looking to possibly upgrade to HNY just because we've never stayed there before and it's a bit closer.

It's £142 to upgrade for 4 nights - is it worth it? We LOVE sequoia and booked a Montana Room so to get the safe and the newly refurbished rooms, but curiosity is killing us! Is it worth it to pay the extra? What extras do you get with HNY and do they have safes in the room?

Thanks :)

HNY do have safes.

You get the hot breakfast and a shorter walk.

But I prefer the themeing in SL. Found HNY a bit lack lustre in May.

When do you go? Could you upgrade to a Golden Forest room? I'd rather try there next trip than back at HNY. (GF opens in the summer)

We go in December this year so quite a long time away! The GF do look lovely! What are the benefits of staying in one?

From what I've read:

- private check in
- breakfast in private lounge with characters
- room on top 2 or 3 floors
- free soft drinks and afternoon tea in lounge
- 1 fast pass per day (like the ones you get in DLH)

Like any club level service it's more about just stuff being a bit more relaxed and pampered than getting 'value for money' but we've stayed CL in a couple of hotels and the benefits are lovely. The lounges always seem quiet and the exclusivity make the holiday seem that bit more special IMHO.
