Hotel New York Terrace Room

Hi all

just beginning planning on our next trip to DLP (found a great price for the May half term on the Irish website) and have the choice between a terrace room and a plaza one. I know that the plaza rooms over look the late but am I right in thinking that terrace means that they're on the ground floor?

Afaik yes - terrace rooms are on the ground floor so they could have a little patio or garden

Hi Meg, We had a Terrace room in Gramercy Park in June 2014. It was a lovely room, ground floor is great as the lifts can be slow in HNY. The door opened onto a tiny little terrace but there was no table and chairs to sit outside. To be honest it would have been wasted on us as we tended to only be in the room when we needed to sleep.
