Hi, can anyone provide a review of this and let me know what is on offer? Is there decent coffee and soya milk available?

Thanks!

I have reviews of breakfast on the hotel sticky page, sorry I don't know about soya milk or coffee as I don't drink either.

Various cereals, bread/toast, pastries/muffins/best crossiants ever, yoghurt, fruit, jam/nutella,hot items including bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, fried potato, tea, coffee, fruit juices and probably more that i've missed.

Eat either in the Parkside Diner or the Manhattan restaurant. Food is the exactly the same in both. I prefer the Manhattan as it's more spacious. At peak times they sometimes also offer breakfast in the Convention Centre which is basically just a large function room.

Here are some pics from our previous trips:

Are the sausages still veal? They are a bit different for British palettes.

Ham and cheese at breakfast as well. I didn't see (or need) soya milk, but from what others have said I would think they would have it on request. I did see people with baskets of bread / cereal on their table which I assume was a gluten-free selection so I guess they cater for allergies. I thought the coffee was dreadful, so bad that I didn't even bother getting any on the last couple of days, my husband thought it was horrible too but did still drink it.

I've had a friend stay at a different on-site hotel and they just asked for soya milk and it was brought to them on request.

Personally I didn't like the breakfast at the HNY and didn't bother going back after the first morning, I couldn't even find smooth orange juice!
Not worth losing the ability to have 'breakfast in the park' imo.

Staying at the DLH next August so hoping the breakfast there is a bit better!

Planning our first visit to DLP this coming April 2017. We have been to WDW numerous times and nothing confuses me more then the included breakfast.
From what I read this breakfast is "Continental" at the value resorts, but includes hot items at some of the higher end resorts. And it seems like it is a moving target.
One point I quoted on was losing the ability to have "breakfast in the park".

What does that mean?
Is the hotel breakfast portable?
Do you have to eat your breakfast in your resort or can you bring it outside included in the price or an upcharge at other locations?
Is there a complete guide to "breakfast"?

Thanks

Up to now all onsite hotels have included breakfast in the price. Santa Fe, Cheyenne, SL and Newport Bay have all been continental breakfast which consisted of cereal, breads, croissants and other pastries, fruit salad, yoghurts, cold meats , cheeses and drinks.
New York, DLH and club level rooms in SL and NPB have included the above and also hot items (bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, tomatoes, potatoes, pancakes, waffles etc)

I say up to now as there is another recent thread which discusses the changes which have just been announced (rooms booked after a date in October for after 27th March will not include breakfast - this can be added on at a cost) What this will consist of is unknown at the moment but is expected to be similar but just paid for.

Up to now you have only been allowed breakfast in your own hotel (they are hotels not resorts) but once you start paying for them it may be an option to upgrade to another hotel - again all unknown at the moment as to whether you have to book the breakfast for all nights of stay or can pay for some as you want

Re breakfast in the park - sometimes they offer the option to swap your breakfast to have it in one of the restaurants in the park (usually Plaza Gardens) but this was only an options for the lower priced hotels as it was continental only and so was a downgrade for NY and DLH.
This wasn't always offered and seemed to be at the very busy times .
Whether this will still be offered is unknown but it won't be in Plaza Gardens as this restaurant is going to be a character breakfast (paid but prices unknown after March 27th)

The other option to have breakfast in the park which the previous poster may have been referring to is to go to one of the eateries on Main Street which are open during EMH and serve pastries and drinks - these are paid for as normal though
