Hotel near DTW

Need help
Looking for Hotel near DTW . Seeing Wingate by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport & Holiday Inn Detroit Metro Airport.
anyone have a preference??

I stayed a little further away at the Holiday Inn Express Canton, which is like three exits north on 275 and it was fine. I'd rather stay there than a Wingate.

There is a wide range of hotels on Merriman Rd. just north of the airport at all price points. I tend to do Marriott or Hilton family. Most have a shuttle to airport and May have a park-stay-fly package.

The Holiday Inn Detroit Metro is a good hotel, but no free breakfast. The Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden are both good too.

I've done the Fairfield Inn and the SpringHill Suites, both were completely acceptable and offer Park n Fly rates as well as free shuttles and free breakfasts.

In 2020, our company (based in Grand Rapids) provided COVID screening for all incoming international passengers at the DTW airport so we were "stationed" at the Courtyard Marriott for those who opted to pick up the assignments. I spent a few weeks there over the course of the year and it was perfectly acceptable as well...but that was also when EVERYTHING was shut down. The hotel itself was only open for "essential workers" so it was the EMS folks and airline staff that were staying there...and one, very entertaining and overworked bartender . They have a shuttle, but I don't think they have a free breakfast. They offer a breakfast, but I don't think it is free.
