Hotel menage??

We stayed there a few years back. From what I remember the rooms were updated; kind of like, Las Vegas chic. There was a pool and bar which lead to restless sleep due to the rowdiness going on downstairs. But the bar came in handy to lossen up sore feet and muscles after a long day at the park. I think there was a bacherlore party staying there that night, so it's probably not the norm to have a rowdy crowd. But the room was clean and nice. We had a two queen room and the staff was very helpful when we asked for a roll away bed b/c a pair of siblings in our group refused to share a queen bed. :confused3 However, I wouldn't consider it walking distance to the park, which is why we haven't gone back. Hope that helps.

Anybody has any experience with it?

Not with this name or management, I want to say it was a Holiday Inn back then, but a great location, nice pool and when I drive by it looks very well maintained from the outside.

I do however, know their other properties like the La Casa in Laguna beach and it is fabulous, so I imagine they have done a nice job there too.

We just stayed there (for free!) a few months ago.
They try real REAL hard to be a sexy, hip hotel. Problem is: the freeway is roaring by the property and it is so stinking loud no matter where your room is, that it really doesn't matter. It's like sleeping on the off-ramp and I am not kidding.

The lobby is pretty, the staff is nice. Heck, the rooms are nice. But the location can't be compensated for. I'm so grateful it was free because I would have been ticked if we had actually spent money there.

Also, they try very hard to not be very Disney. Horrible place for kids. We didn't have any with us, so that wasn't a problem. They are going for the swank, adult theme. I saw families there and kinda felt sorry for them.

We spent minimal time there, that's the only way it was tolerable.

We really liked Hotel Menage. We are an adult couple, no kids and were looking for something less kid-centric and menage worked out well. It is definitely within walking distance-it takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the front door to the parks. It could be a little harder with strollers because you have to cross an on 0ff ramp.
The restaurant has a huge tapas-like menu and is a lot of fun. The pool area is very nice (great happy hour) and we loved taking a break from the parks here.
The rooms are modern, loft-like with concrete floors.
It's nothing luxe, (don't expect a Kimpton or W) but we wanted to be away from the places that surround disneyland (comforters on the beds, flower trimmed curtains--any pool with a bucket of water that dumps over the people below).
It can be loud there. We had real problems with the radio from the pool blasting all night long (we were told later the radio should have been turned off--they did not turn it off when we complained the first night, but did the second night).
The highway noise is noticeable outside but shouldn't be a problem for sleeping.
However, there is no better place to see the fireworks (from outside the park I mean). They are so close, it's almost scary!

Thank you so much guys. It won't work for us because we do have kids.

I have never been there, but I live very close to Anaheim, and my wife and I snicker every time we pass the place driving on the freeway, as that seems a very un-Disney like name for a hotel catering to the Disney crowd.:rolleyes1
