Hotel in/near Hollywood

Can you recommend a nice (but not $400/night) hotel in/near Hollywood CA? We are a family of 6, so if it happens to fit us all in one room that's even better. Mostly I just want a hotel with an indoor pool if possible (but not necessary) that's close to restaurants and fun stuff to do. We'll be spending a day in Hollywood and a day at Universal Studios, then a day at Knott's (which I know isn't close) and one day with no plans beofre we move on to stay on Disney property and go to DL and DCA. Residence Inn Beverly Hills. You can get a 1br or 2br and it has a kitchen, and also free breakfast. No idea about a pool - I'm only out there on business and avoid pools.

You did not say what day of the week you are going. Marriott's have great weekend deals. If you are driving the Marriott Courtyard in Burbank has good rates for the area but book up fast. The city area is clean and bonus only a few blocks from the Disney Studios ..... It's also easy drive to Universal and other attractions. I wouldn't really stay in Hollywood as it is dirty and there are much easier places to stay at.
