hotel in memphis

Thank you for your reply! I was doing some web surfing and I came across a Hilton Garden Inn in Southaven. It looks nice from what I can tell. Would it be safe? They have complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which is a PLUS since there would be no car.

Sorry for the delay in my response. I didn't get any emails. Yes, Southaven is a safe area. It has really grown in recent years. Lots of s dining and shopping.

Hi there! I suggest the Germantown/Cordova area, the Wolfchase area, or downtown. Also, the University of Memphis has a Holiday Inn that I suggest (it's very nice!). Don't give beggars money, don't ask beggars for directions, the area outside of Graceland isn't the best (fine during daytime) & don't go south of Beale street. We have the worst drivers. Watch out for red light runners.

:thumbsup2 Yes to this! My husband used to play in softball tournaments and we would stay near Wolfchase so I didn't have to endure the ball field LOL Nice, clean hotels abound there. We stayed in a Hampton right across the highway and it was very nice. We also like Fairfield Inn that is a bit further away from that area but still easy to get to. And, no, sadly the area near Graceland ISN'T the best. In fact, my mom and I *tried* to go once but left due to how creepy it was!
