I have just found I need a hotel for my four night trip in two weeks. I am usually a camper so this is a unique opportunity for me. I am considering splitting my nights between different hotels. ANy hints on hotel hopping?

Don't. It takes a lot out of your day to continually pack up, unpack, move your bags or get them moved, check in and out.

I don't like to hop unless my stay is over a week.

we love to "hop" hotels while at Disney. A few things that make it easier on us--
1) utilize automatic check-out if available. That way, you don't have to fool with checking out of your room; you can just call bell services and scram first thing in the morning.

2)Use bell services to transfer your bags (if going from deluxe to deluxe)

3)go enjoy a park after checking in at your new hotel...just have a cell phone to call the hotel periodically to inquire after your room #.

Doing these things will minimize the time you have to devote to changing rooms, and the benefit of being able to check out a brand new place will outweigh the detriment of moving, IMHO.

We just moved twice in a 7 day stay (3 different hotels). I did take 'non-park' days on my 'moving' days, but I could have easily done a park on those days. It can be done with little to no hassle. Packing light would help.

I don't let them move my luggage for me ever since they lost it once.

Thanks for all the input. How does automatic check-out work? I imagine if we do this one hotel may be PO.
