The lowest I've found so far is the Del Sol for $96/night...We will be there 3 nights - Dec 16-19 - can I find a better deal or should I book it?

Thanks so much!

(We are Annual Pass Holders and have AAA as well)

Try hotwire.com. I just did a search for the dates you mentioned and found a 3 1/2 star in the "Disneyland-South" area for $65 a night. I have always booked my rooms for Disneyland through hotwire and have never been disappointed. I usually choose 3 star or better and stick with the Disneyland South neighborhood.

If you haven't stayed at the Del Sol it is very close to the DLR entrance. You might try the Anaheim Plaza, It's about a block further. If you go cheaper though it's going to make it further. Pretty quick you will have a ten or fifteen minute walk or need to take ART.

We recently booked a rate at the HoJo for $76/nite Dec 12-18. It was better than their AP or AAA rates.

Try America's Best Value Inn on Katella if you don't mind the 15 minute walk to the gate... We saved $880 last trip by getting a one bedroom suite rather than two rooms, their single King rooms are typically around the $50 mark... You get free Wifi, parking and breakfast... We got the best deal by ringing the hotel direct and haggling...

The Super 8 next door is similarily priced as well...

Booked the Super 8 for $49/night! It's less than a 1/2 mile away and the walk won't bother us with having the girls in the double stroller. And free breakfast, free parking and free internet just were too good to pass up. We don't do anything in our rooms but sleep, so a 2 star doesn't bother me.

Thanks for the help!

I have been looking there as well and am curious...why do you prefer DL South as opposed to the DL North area? North seems closer to DL on the map. We just need a place to crash one night before checking into GCH. We want to use EE priveleges that morning, too, so the closer, the better, I am thinking. :confused3
Thanks!

We usually use Priceline and get our rooms anywhere from $40-$60/night. In October, we stayed at the Embassy Suites for $60/night. We'll be there the same dates, 12/16-12/19, as you, and we'll be at the Doubletree for $45/night. We've stayed here once before (back in August) and it is a very nice place.

We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn across the street. It is behind the McDonalds on Harbor.

The Residence Inn South of Disney had good rates, more room, and a good breakfast. Threre is a trolley stop right in front of the hotel.
