Our family of four will be going on the 9/28 cruise, but will be flying in the night before.

Anybody have any good suggestions for a hotel for that night? especially one with a shuttle.

We have had great luck getting MCO airport hotels via Hotwire and Priceline for the night before from $28 (Renaissance and La Quinta) to $33 (Amerisuites). All of them have a free shuttle, so we can take that the night before and take Happy Limo to the port early the next morning. La Quinta and Amerisuites have free continental breakfast too. Those prices are before the fee and taxes, which add another $6 to $10 to the final price. You won't know your hotel beforehand, but on Hotwire you can tell the suite hotels (which typically have a free shuttle) by the amenities, and on Priceline we stick to two stars or above.

There are over a dozen hotels within a mile of MCO, and they ALL have shuttle service (although not all of them offer that shuttle after midnight). Check expedia.com or travelocity.com and specify a search near the airport (MCO).

OR... if you wanted to stay closer to the port (47 miles from the airport) the only hotel with a shuttle to the cruise terminal is the Radisson in Cape Canaveral. If you want to stay closer to the port, I have details at my web site.
