Hotel Check in.

I picked up my Disney confirmation from my TA today and luckily i checked the info and they had spelt me, my mum and dad surname wrong So the TA rung Disney Direct who said they had already sorted out this problem. The TA told me to just take the orginial letter as she said they mite not send a new one out. Will this cause problems at check in, i hope not.

Do they check passports against the reservation names? Im worrying now, i know the TA said that disney have sorted this out on there system but what if i get there they wont let me check in because there is a letter missing on the confirmation letter and it doesnt match with the surname on there sistems.

Im rather annoyed this has happenend tbh.
Im not going to be able to relax untill ive checked in now.

Not First Choice is it by any chance.

I know how annoying it is when things go wrong, i am due to travel in a couple of weeks and i have yet to receive any VEA transfer tickets. Everything else has been sent though.

First Choice didn't even know what they were and whether i was supposed to have them or not . After countless phonecalls they say Disney have now sent them out and First Choice should receive them in a few days, they will then send them onto me.
I am not convinced though and have already prepared for the fact that i may have to pay again to get from the airport to the hotel. Not the best of starts !!!!

Yes we are going with First choice aswell lol.

Im so angry with them, they claim they check the details on the letter before saying i can collect it, then when i do our surname is spelt incorrectly.

Its well and good saying they have it sorted Disney end, but i would like a letter showing me that my surname is spelt correctly and im highley unlikely to get one.

So scared they wont check us in because of it

if you are really scared it might reassure you to know that if you forget your passport you can call them with the passport number later.

i never remember my passport at ckeck-in - i just tell them my name and they give me my little envelope,my easypass and my form.

Well hopefully it will all be alright.
Fingers crossed... or otherwise it could mean a early trip back for me.
God my dad would go mad...lol could you imagine

Whose name is the booking made in & how many rooms booked? if it is yours & only one room booked you will be fine as they only require the passport of the person the room is booked in.

I can't see if being a problem but could you not take your letter to First choice & get them to write on it, to cover you once you are there.

My name is on the booking form and we only have one booked.

I did ask that but they said because its already been changed at the disney reservation end i wont need a new letter. (they called Disney while i was there and was told it had already been corrected)

You have nothing to worry about as all that will be required is your passport at check in.

Its so straightforward they give you the form to fill in your details, then give you your passes, room key etc & thats about it.
