Hotel check-in and luggage question

Sorry if this is kind of random but I had a question. We are not staying on Disney property and we can't check-in to our hotel till 3PM. However our flight lands in Orlando at 8AM and we would like to go ahead to the park. We are not renting a car however, just taking a cab/shuttles.

Does anyone have any ideas on what we could do with our luggage if we wanted to go to the park until it was time to check into our hotel?

You should still be able to go check in to your hotel. Your room my not be ready, but they should still be able to hold your luggage while you go to the park. In a less likely case you may also find that your room IS ready, all depending, and then you can leave your stuff there and head to the park.

Most hotels have a luggage storage area that things can be stored in. I've used this service many times when i have an oxygen concentrator delivered to a hotel before I get there.

i go to disney about once a month and they will hold your luggage for you so that you can go to the park and if you and text you when your room is ready with where you are and room number they will even deliver your luggage to your room

OP is NOT staying on property.

To the OP, if you can go to your resort first to leave with bell services that is your best bet. At the parks there are lockers but they are very small. I do believe out by the bus depot at Epcot there are special "luggage lockers" so if you are going to a park this might be your best option.
