Hotel at Tampa, St Pete Clearwater Airport?

I am trying to find a Hotel in Tampa close by the St Pete Clearwater airport. Just looking for something clean and safe. Only going to be there one night.. Any help?? Going in July...Thanks...

PIE is actually in Clearwater, not Tampa. So try searching Clearwater for hotels.

I would recommend the Hampton Inn which is located at 21030 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, Florida and it's about a 10 - 15 minute drive to St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport.

There's actually a Hampton Inn much closer than US19; it's on Ulmerton Road. Hotels close to PIE will have an Ulmerton Road address. There's a Holiday Inn there, Days Inn, Super 8, Courtyard, LaQuinta, Homewood Suites, etc. Ulmerton is also known as SR 688.

Please note that the hotels on the north side of Ulmerton will have a Clearwater address but hotels on the south side of the road will have a St. Petersburg or Pinellas Park address.
