Hotel and Package Questions

I just booked a package last night on the Universal Web-site. What I totally forgot to do in my excitement was to apply my AAA to the package. Is it too late to do so now? If I can apply it what would I need to do?

Also - Has anyone stayed at the Doubletree near Universal? Is it an easy walk to get to the parks?

I'm not sure that you can apply AAA to the package.

The Doubletree is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the park. If you look at the aerial view in google maps, you will get a good idea.
